Great song. KRS-One is the best. Nas and Rakim are great to. Kanye though looks like a fool on this one. If he wants to be a legend he should make more albums like college dropout and Songs like Jesus Walks. Not Love Lockdown and Heartless.

of course kanye is about hip-hop. and i didn't say there is anything wrong with looking presentable. are you saying one requires brand names to be presentable? that is not what hip-hop is about. hip-hop is about twisting the corporate game to flip it into a representation of the streets, to paraphrase KRS-1. kanye hasn't/doesn't always do this correctly when his ego gets in the way. that's why he is criticized so much. personally though, i think he does it on purpose. he seems to feed off of it.

He's just another bubblegum, cat in the hat rapper with some jingly, saturday morning cartoon beats, and a one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish style. There are many others who would have done this track justice. I'm truly sorry for you if you think Kanye's vocabulary is in any form comparable to any of those guys.
